Sujata Bhakta DDS

Meet the Doctor

Dr Bhakta grew up and had her preliminary education in India. She moved to the United States in 1992. She attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry from 1996-1999 and received her Doctorate in Dental Sciences in 1999. She cleared the NERB (North Eastern Regional Dental Board) in 1999 and is licensed to practice in Michigan.

Dr Bhakta enjoys practising general dentistry with special emphasis on prevention and cosmetic dentistry. She always strives to provide quality care in a gentle environment. She also believes that dental education is the key to better oral health.

Dr Bhakta is a member of American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Washtenaw County Dental Society. In addition to her professional associations, she is also a member of Women's Business Association of Southeast Michigan. In addition to English, she speaks several Indian languages fluently.

In her spare time, Dr Bhakta likes cooking, yoga and hiking in the various parks around Michigan. She recently received her certification RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).
